INITIAL FEEDING PERIOD:

Use Brit VD Diabetes Cat initially for a period of up to 6 months. The daily amount of food should be divided into several meals and served at regular intervals depending on your cat’s medical condition. Regular checks of blood glucose levels are essential to obtaining the optimal insulin dose. Don’t feed your cat any other pet food or human food and snacks.

LONG-TERM FEEDING:

Maintaining optimal weight of cat with diabetes mellitus improves sensitivity to insulin. Regular checks of body weight are essential to effective management of diabetes mellitus. Diets with a low glycaemic index and high protein content can achieve remission of diabetes mellitus in cats.
